This website was created by Brian Foster as a project for an online class in Internet Programming through Keller Graduate School of Management.
Through the last 15 years, I have been assembling information and documentation related to the purchase of the BMW O2-series. Throughout this time, I kept telling my friends I would release this information and use my www.bmw-2002.org domain. Unfortunately, I use my bmw-2002.org domain extensively for email and would have a hard time converting over for the classroom project. Therefore, I used this other domain I own: rennsport.net. I think it is a good place to park this site for now.
If you need to contact the administrator for this website, then please send the emails to bmw@rennsport.net.
If you would like to contribute information, pictures, or other content for the site, then use the Feedback Form or email it to bmw@rennsport.net.

A little about me...
I have been a BMW O2-series enthusiast since 1988 when I purchased my first BMW 2002tii. It is an original Verona Red car VIN number 2760076: the 76th car built for the USA. Bill Holmes at Bavarian Rennsport did a lot of work to that car and it made it to the BMW CCA Oktoberfest in Monterey CA (1990?) where it blew the head gasket during the spirited tour.
This car introduced me to the BMW CCA and a large number of people that I still consider very good friends. A lot of these people reviewed and contributed significant content and information on this site. Please, go to the list of Contributors to be introduced to some of these people. Go to their websites for more information.
I am thankful to each and every one of these people for teaching me about these cars, preparing them, restoring them, working on them and more.
I created this buyers guide as a way to give back to the enthusiast circle that continues to give so generously to all O2-series owners.
If you are in the southern California area and want someone to evaluate a car, then you will find me in the BMW 2002 FAQ Discussion Forums. Just do a search for PRSNCAT and you will discover the best way to get in touch with me.
I welcome you to the close-knit family of BMW O2-series owners.
